Campaigns in Thirdshelf are emails sent to your customers at a pre-determined time chosen by you or automatically when certain conditions are met. This article will go over the various types of Campaigns Thirdshelf has to offer and how they can help you.
Monthly Digest
The Monthly Digest is sent on the first of each month, and serves two main purposes:
Give your customers a summary of their current points balance, as well as what rewards they have unlocked and/or are close to unlocking (“you are 82 points away from…!”)
Provide a monthly touch-point with your customers, reminding them of your business, your loyalty program and their membership in it.
Thank You
The Thank You campaign is much like the Monthly Digest, but is sent to your customers after every purchase.
The campaign will show your customer any reward they may have just unlocked, as well as provide their current total points balance and what rewards they have unlocked and/or are close to unlocking.
Birthday
The Birthday campaign is sent to your customer on the day of their birthday offering them a small birthday gift as a thank you. Every morning Thirdshelf scans through your database looking for customers’ date of birth and will dynamically send an email to the customers whose birthday falls on that day.
All you have to do is set this campaign up and have it sitting in you Active Campaigns and Thirdshelf will send the Birthday email.
n.b. You must collect and keep record of your customers’ birthdays either in Thirdshelf or your POS system.
We Miss You & Win Back
These two powerful campaigns are part of our Retention Series -- they work to identify and bring back customers that you are losing.
Once activated, these will automatically incentives (that you define) to customers that we detect are at risk of being lost or have lapsed. Integration to your point-of-sale system allows us to detect these changes in customer buying behavior on a daily basis, so they are working daily on your behalf.
Custom Offer
The Custom Offer campaign is versatile and customizable, making a powerful tool for you to use. This campaign can be used to send special offers to specific customer groups or for a certain point in time (1-week campaign; long-weekend campaign, etc.).
With the custom offer you will select the following;
- Your Audience
- Choose from an existing customer segment or
- Create your own
- Campaign duration
- Start Date- the day that the email will be sent out/the day the offer will be placed in the customer's’ account.
- End Date- the last day the customer can take advantage of the offer.
Seasonal/Special Occasion Campaigns
There are 12 pre-built Seasonal Campaigns to choose from in you Campaign Library.
We have pre-populated them with professionally-written content appropriate for each occasion. You can pick a date and send them as-is, or customize them further before sending.
As in the Custom Campaign you can select who you would like to target and how long you would like to run that particular campaign.
