Thirdshelf gives you the ability to create rewards to be given out through a loyalty program or through our automated marketing campaigns. There rewards or offers can be one of 4 types:
Dollar Discount

• Percent Discount
• Free Product
• Free Service

Dollar/Percent discounts will apply themselves automatically upon pressing the redeem button.

Free Product/Service rewards require a bit more of an explanation depending on your POS.  (Note, this case details redeeming a free product / free service - if you have questions about redeeming a free product / service to track an announcement email click here.)

For Springboard Retail

Free products and services can be applied directly to a line item inside the POS. Simply Redeem the free item/service offer and choose which item in the sale it should be applied to. This will apply 100% discount to the selected line item. 

For Lightspeed Retail and Vend

For free products and free services - a $0 item is applied to the sale to track the redemption that requires you to balance out the transaction by making the cost of the discount match the cost of the item you will be discounting.

Redeem the free item/service offer > Ring up the real product > Change the price of the real product to $0 > Complete transaction

OR

Redeem the free item/service offer > Scan the real product > Change the price of the free item/service offer to negative the value of the real product (To save time you can change the price of these items in your inventory to already be negative the price of the bag they would redeem) > Complete transaction
